Long, heavy and sensitive goods place special safety requirements on careful transport logistics. In combination with limited storage space and narrow rack aisles, conventional forklift trucks quickly reach their limits. That's why, in only two years, Groen & Janssen invested in four Hubtex multi-directional sideloaders to optimize its material flow.
A new multidirectional tool changer from the special purpose vehicles manufacturer HUBTEX was especially designed for the application at the Volkswagen plant in Wolfsburg Germany for transporting and changing injection moulding tools.
Kronospan Schweiz AG relies on the EZK 35 picking platform with vacuum suction device for semi-automatic picking of high-quality chipboard, which has been supplemented by Hubtex and Rohrer-Marti AG with a number of functions for positioning, centering and binding.

Test, test, test. This is the motto to be able to build a safe and high-quality vehicle. To ensure this, HUBTEX is building a test and storage hall in the Technology Park Fulda.
Choice of charging technology is key to the efficient use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in intralogistics. The aim is to supply the vehicle with energy as quickly and cost-effectively as possible, while maximising the internal material flow. To achieve this, HUBTEX is forming a partnership with INTIS.
HUBTEX was responsible for introducing the PhoeniX AGV — the world's first fully automated electric multidirectional sideloader for handling long, heavy and bulky goods. Now, thanks to an inductive charging system from INTIS, the vehicle's 48 V lithium-ion battery can be supplied with a charging current of 400 A contactlessly and wirelessly. The same concept can then be transferred to all HUBTEX vehicles with electric drives.

HUBTEX has given its FluX electric multidirectional counterbalance forklift truck an update. The latest generation for load capacities of up to 3 tonnes is making its debut at LogiMAT 2023. Visitors to Stand 10B20 in Hall 10 at the LogiMAT trade fair will be able to see the new central drivers’ position, which provides a higher-up all-round visibility compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the patented 360° HX steering has been added to the compact three-wheel running gear for the first time, ensuring smooth changes in direction from longitudinal to transverse travel.
From coils to large paper rolls and tooling – the newly expanded range of 8t to 30t trucks in the RoxX compact forklift series from HUBTEX, solve specific challenges across many industries. Heavy loads can be handled in the tightest of spaces, thanks to the unique electric drive and steering systems with great efficiency.
