HUBTEX is a medium-sized German company. Over the past 30 years, HUBTEX has developed into a global leader for customized material handling equipment, particularly electric multidirectional sideloaders. HUBTEX has three production plants, five international subsidiaries and a worldwide dealer network.
HUBTEX North America is the 100% owned Sales and Service subsidiary responsible for the USA and Canada. To increase HUBTEX's market presence on the West Coast we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager in California.

Because HUBTEX products are electrically driven and save warehouse space, they are at the forefront when customers want to minimize their carbon footprint. HUBTEX provides customized material handling solutions across a variety of industries. We are seeking a sales professional with knowledge of the industry who can provide the highest level of customer service and sales possible.

This position will require 40% travel within your specific territory in California. HUBTEX will provide a company vehicle for travel. In addition to a competitive base salary, this role offers a guaranteed pay structure for the initial two years of employment.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new leads and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base
  • Understand customer needs and effectively provide solutions with HUBTEX’s products and services
  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Write quotes, calculate prices and negotiate with the customer
  • Effectively manage assigned territory, including regular travel to meet with customers, attend meetings, and conduct sales presentations
  • Collaboration within the sales team to develop new sales strategies and new products
Qualifications
  • Experience in the Material Handling, Lumber, or Building Material industry
  • Technical knowledge
  • Previous sales experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Demonstrates a methodical approach to completing tasks
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus
