The multifunctional 2-in-1 solution – HUBTEX’s electric multi-directional side loader with a detachable order-picking platform – can be used as a conventional multi-directional forklift truck. Alternatively, by attaching a platform, it can also function as a fully-fledged order-picking vehicle.
In the standard KP configuration, the order-picking process is carried out manually, whereas in the VK configuration, the process is fully automated using a vacuum suction device.
Our VK models are particularly effective at preventing any damage that may occur to wooden panels during manual order-picking.

J. u. A. Frischeis GmbH relies on flexible electric multidirectional sideloaders from HUBTEX for order picking as well as for the stacking and retrieval of large-format wood sheets.
Maximum delivery capacity, ordering service and optimum flow of goods are just a few of the decisive factors that led J. u. A. Frischeis GmbH from Villach to decide on two HUBTEX wire guided electric multidirectional sideloaders. The great thing with this flexible concept is that one of the two identical MQ 70 Series 2131 PU lift trucks can be extended with the quick addition of an order picking platform if required.
The 4500 mm wide order picking platform has a load capacity of 2.7 tons and can accommodate sheets measuring up to 3000 x 2070 mm. Without a platform, the MQ 70 can move loads up to 13 m in length and 7 tons in weight. “The removable platform gives us excellent flexibility and an optimal fleet for every order situation,” says a spokesperson for J. u. The multifunctional 2 in 1 solution - the electric multidirectional sideloader with pickable picking platform from HUBTEX. Without a platform, the ESTL can be used as a fully-fledged returnable stacker. Once the platform is picked up, it functions as an order picking stacker.
Features
If there is no platform fitted, the vehicle functions as a conventional electric multidirectional sideloader. These are already designed for handling long loads in their basic configuration, even in narrow aisles.
A great advantage of these vehicles is that they can be supplemented by a large number of other equipment options.
For use as a pure order picking vehicle, the multidirectional sideloader is supplemented by a removable platform, the attachment takes maximum five minutes. The operator then controls the system from the platform. They pick the sheets either alone or in conjunction with another operator directly from the rack compartments to the vehicle.
The electronics are configured in such a way that, if required, two control panels can also be installed. For the best possible view, the front panel in the direction of travel is always activated.
In order to further reduce the risk of damage to the materials, a vacuum suction device can be optionally added to the picking platform of the HUBTEX electric multidirectional sideloader. Extendible suction cups extract individual sheets from the rack compartment and then deposit them again directly on the platform. In this case, only one person is required for operation. The great advantage of this modular solution is its flexibility. The multidirectional sideloader can be used cost-effectively for both load handling and order picking with a medium handling capacity.
