HUBTEX North America
HUBTEX Maschinenbau GmbH from Fulda, Germany, has integrated the US general importer Design Storage & Handling (DSH) 100 percent into the HUBTEX organization. The resulting subsidiary HUBTEX North America is now responsible for the German company's most important market outside Europe. New Managing Director Alexander Baumann is responsible for North and Central America business.
For more than 30 years, Design Storage & Handling (DSH) successfully distributed the product portfolio of the HUBTEX Group in the North and Central American markets. Now the forklift manufacturer HUBTEX has taken over 100 percent of the general importer and will look after local customers independently as HUBTEX North America.

"We remain the reliable partner for transporting long, heavy and bulky loads. From now on, we will extend this expertise beyond the steel industry to the building materials trade and the timber and automotive industries, for which our products are designed. We guarantee users a reliable spare parts supply, first-class service and trouble-free processes," says Alexander Baumann
The new Managing Director brings more than 20 years of experience in industrial truck and order picking technology and sound technical expertise in all aspects of the HUBTEX product range.
New depot in California ensures rapid availability
In the USA, HUBTEX aims to further develop the steadily growing market for multidirectional forklifts and special trucks.
"For us, this includes opening a new depot on the west coast of America, more precisely in California, in addition to our existing large branches in Ohio and Virginia. We have already initiated the appropriate measures for this and expanded our demonstration fleet," says Hans-Joachim Finger, Managing Director of HUBTEX. "The presence in California is just one measure to expand our proximity to existing customers, to get to know their needs even better and to introduce the products to new users".
In addition, HUBTEX ensures the rapid availability and on-time delivery of standard machines. Besides the two branch locations, sales and service staff are also active in Washington State, Oregon, New Mexico, Texas and California. In addition, HUBTEX North America will distribute customized material handling equipment for production logistics from Genkinger, a manufacturer of custom-built industrial trucks, as well as special airport/air cargo equipment from DIMOS Maschinenbau.
