Heavy-duty vehicles
for internal transport up to 350 tonnes
Heavy-duty vehicles are indispensable for the internal transport of heavy and bulky loads in industry and manufacturing. They are used wherever tools, machines, coils or large-volume components need to be moved safely, precisely and efficiently – for example in mechanical engineering, aerospace, metalworking or press shops.
As a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicles, HUBTEX develops customised transport solutions for intralogistics. The portfolio includes heavy-duty platform trolleys, tool changers, electric tugs and rail trolleys for loads ranging from several tonnes up to 350 tonnes. The vehicles feature a modular design and are precisely tailored to the specific application – from manual operations to semi- or fully automated solutions.
HUBTEX heavy-duty vehicles are characterised by a robust, durable design, compact dimensions and high manoeuvrability. This enables safe and economical transport processes to be carried out even in confined spaces – even under demanding operating conditions in industrial environments.

The Austrian company Binder+Co AG uses a Hubtex SFX electric platform truck with a payload of 40 t and multidirectional steering for the in-house transport of raw materials and semi-finished and finished bulk material processing systems. Bulk material processing systems weighing up to 40 tonnes can now be transported across the entire company premises and between the various halls and production stages without the need for costly hired mobile cranes.
Building materials manufacturer HIANSA sandwich panels
HIANSA has experienced numerous benefits through the acquisition of our HUBTEX multi-directional forklifts. Thanks to the environmentally friendly and reliable electric solution, HIANSA has been able to maintain the demanding performance without generating pollutant exhaust emissions.
Building material manufacturer METECNO sandwich panels
The loads to be transported by METECNO are mainly sandwich panel packages with dimensions ranging from 3 to 18 meters. The Diesel four-way forklifts DQ-X are equipped with a detachable fork carriage, which offers great flexibility to safely move different load lengths.
Manufacturer of solar protection systems Giménez Ganga
At Giménez Ganga they handle long loads of 6 meters long in aisles 3 meters wide. This requires the use of side-loading forklifts.
As operations were carried out indoors, another fundamental requirement was that they had to have an electric motor, which is why HUBTEX met all the requirements to a large extent.
Elevator manufacturer ORONA
Very narrow aisles, a high level of storage, the need to handle very heavy and bulky loads, as well as long loads such as lifting rails, required a solution that allows optimizing the available space to use it for other functions in the production process.
Building materials dealer Halvax Paneelsysteme

Our answers to your questions
Are there coil transporters, platform trucks and rail cars available as AGVs?
The transport of coils is one of the typical tasks for manufacturers of metal strips and wire in intralogistics. Typically, platform and track wagons are often used for this purpose. Alternatively, HUBTEX offers special coil transporters or electric traction heads as well as heavy duty compact forklifts. These vehicle types form the basis for automated processes. HUBTEX relies on a modular construction kit with automated functions, assistance systems and safety components that are gradually being integrated into series production vehicles. This includes, for example, automatic positioning which navigates the operator directly in front of the correct shelf compartment after entering the desired position. HUBTEX has already anticipated the step-by-step automation with assistance systems: In the basic construction of the vehicles, cable routes, holders and sensors are pre-planned, with which the devices can also be automated later on.
