The Genkinger EGU is an electric low-lift truck engineered for safe, crane-free handling of heavy cable drums in tight production areas. Prismatic V-forks take up the drum's free span and hold it securely during travel, braking, and precise placement at pay-off or processing stations. A compact, counterweight-free design delivers full operator visibility, agile maneuvering, and a low overall truck weight that reduces space requirements and floor load.
The Electric drive and electro-hydraulic lift provide quiet, emission-free operation, while options such as strap clamp or prism hold-down, mandrel pins, and adjustable V-blocks adapt the interface to mixed drum diameters and widths. The result is greater safety, fewer handling steps, and the ability to cover tasks that would otherwise require a larger, heavier-duty forklift.
