HAGEBAU:

„HUBTEX VEHICLES NEVER LET US DOWN“

The hagebau central warehouse in Westerkappeln near Osnabrück depends on fast handling and customer-oriented order picking. Several HUBTEX devices are significantly involved in this: An electric two-side order picking platform of type MK runs a full eight-hour shift. In addition, these vehicles are supported by a multi-directional sideloader handling whole packages.

The inductively guided MK 20 stores up to 1.3 t full pallets with doors in the 2.80 m wide aisle. The main task for the device is to pick the largest possible selection of doors with only one operator. hagebau converted from the wide infeed to the tip inlay with a depth of 2.20 m, so that more doors can now be accessed on the same space. Due to the relatively small alleys they can store up to a height of 7.40 m. hagebau has developed its own transfer stations, from which standard forklift trucks pick up the picked doors on euro pallets. By separate order picking, customer DIY stores, building material dealers and timber merchants can have their goods delivered on pallets in the desired composition. When receiving goods from the customer, the pallet with wooden doors, glass doors, etc. does not have to be taken apart again.

The MK order picking platform serves, among other things, to make warehousing processes more efficient and to generate greater capacities through narrower aisle widths.
