Manufacture of lift trucks expanded at main site in Fulda

Hubtex opens new customer center with international guests

Hubtex has again invested in the expansion of its corporate headquarters at Industriepark West in Fulda: In addition to its recently constructed production building, the leading international manufacturer of custom-built forklift trucks, sideloaders and special-purpose vehicles has now built a new 750 m² customer center. This was opened during the international sales conference in 2019. More than 100 business partners from all over the world were invited, gaining an insight into the latest products from the lift truck manufacturer. Hubtex is expanding its site in Fulda to meet the ever-increasing demand for special-purpose vehicles and logistics solutions for Industry 4.0.

The state-of-the-art Hubtex customer center at its Fulda headquarters was largely created by regional construction companies from the Fulda area. The new building is equipped with meeting rooms and a gallery on the upper floor as well as a training hall with the latest media technology and a catering area on the first floor. The 750 m² new building will be used for dealer and product training, conferences, in-house exhibitions and project presentations. “At our new customer center, we can develop and demonstrate individual solution concepts in close cooperation with users and partners,” explains Hans-Joachim Finger, Managing Director Sales and Purchasing at Hubtex. “We are pleased to welcome business partners from all over the world, such as Japan, Australia, the USA and Brazil, to the opening ceremony in Industriepark West in Fulda.”

Of course, the guests at the sales conference were particularly interested in the presentation of new stackers and forklift trucks. The focus was on the new Hubtex PhoeniX series, an electric multidirectional sideloader with Industry 4.0 features. Also of great interest were the FluX 70 electric multidirectional counterbalance forklift and the new RoxX electric heavy-duty compact forklift. The RoxX model is the result of a Fulda co-production between Hubtex and the experts at DIMOS Maschinenbau GmbH.

In addition to the various product presentations, the opening days of the new customer center were dominated by Hubtex’s global sales concept. For in these times of digitization, the requirements profile for forklift sales is changing more and more: While, until now, it has been primarily the vehicle specifications which have been decisive when purchasing stackers, the degree of automation and energy management offered by the trucks will play an overriding role in the future. Hubtex has already responded to this development and is stepping up training for its worldwide sales and service partners. The new customer center offers the platform for this purpose.
